The second night at home went much smoother after making a few adjustments to the camper. I slept better and woke up in time to catch the sunrise.

I brought in another blanket, setup a tiny electric heater, added foam padding under the bed, and tapped over many of the status light sources. It’s a temporary solution until I find something more aesthetically pleasing. I also changed the 120v outlet under the breaker box to add two additional USB 3 ports.

The temperature went down to 27 degrees. The heater didn’t seem to do anything other than heat the air directly in front of it. The extra blanket helped a great deal. As soon as the lights went out, the only thing lighting up the room were the door windows. I plan to purchase some strong Velcro tape and some blackout curtains. The smoke alarm wasn’t noticeable.

Teddy was more restful in the camper and we played tug in the morning with one of his toys. I didn’t wake up tossing and turning as much as the previous night. I still have back pain, but I’m uncertain if it is residual pain from the prior night, or if the mattress is the cause. I plan on adding more cushion under it until I can not sink to the floor.
